THE CORRS ARE set to perform in Dublin’s 3Arena tomorrow night.

Ahead of the gig, The Yacht Tavern in Ringsend has come up with a special offer to entice punters to drop in before the gig…

Yep, free tinfoil.

The pub tells DailyEdge.ie:

We get a good bit of pre and post concert trade so we like to have a spin off whoever is playing. And with the return of The X-Files yesterday and Jim Corr tomorrow night, we thought it might be more than a coincidence and we didn’t want to take any chances.

Of course, Jim Corr has endorsed controversial conspiracy theories in the past.

In 2010, he told Brendan O’Connor on RTÉ’s The Saturday Night Show that he believes the “powers that be” are using “fake terrorism and phoney environmentalism to incrementally bring us into a more controlled society”.

Additionally, he has used his Twitter account to share articles relating to conspiracy theories about 9/11, swine flu and the New World Order, among other things.

The Corrs are reuniting, so here are 13 times they were utterly ICONIC >
